The Tribute

Vehicle Description:

A red/white/blue tribute to all veterans of all branches past, present and future. Has a one of a kind custom interior. Has stars and names of veterans ghosted on the blue paint.

I bought this car in 2007. Had it impounded by the TX. DPS for an issue with the VIN. Previous Owner has removed the VIN an replaced it with another. I almost lost the car because there was no way to identifi who the legal owner was. It took almost 2 years to go through the legal part of this and I finally was awarded the car by the judge, The state issued a whole new VIN number.

I started to think about what to do to the car when it told me what to do with it. The restoration took a life of it\'s own.

I think the best part of the whole build was that is was built as a Tribute to Veterans and was built by Veterans.

The last picture is of all my babies that are done. I am almost done with another 66 Mustang and have a 70 Meyers Manx Buggy and a 69 Baja on the back burner as projects for in the future.

Eastwood Products Used:
Internal frame coating, brake line flare tool and line bender.

What an amazing, from the ground up, well executed restoration with a nice custom flare. Truly a work of art on wheels. Interestingly the car's country of origin didn't hinder your theme. Excellent work!

Im biased, i was a helper in building it... and my name's on it! There is so much detail and care in the making of the tribute that pictures just dont show. With the exception of the paint and interior- Alma has had a hand, or wrench on every single part and piece of this rolling wall to vets past and present. She indeed created "tribute".
