Vehicle Description:
I bought this car as a roller in \'09. In my two car garage, it has taken me lots of hours, blood, sweat, & tears to get it in the shape it is today. The whole point of this project was to see if I could build a car that is dependable enough to drive anywhere, be consistant enough to win at the dragstrip, and at the same time look great, & be 100% NHRA/IHRA legal. I drive it to the track every weekend and it is currently doing very well with an 11-3 round record this year. It turns heads eveywhere I go and my son (6) loves it when I pick him up from school in it (the teachers, not so much....). It retains it\'s original, complete, interior and also has a great sound system. For power, it has an aluminum headed Vortec 350, TH400, Ford 9\", and is a solid 12 second street car.

Very nice car. I have one myself. I would like to know what size wheels and tires you used.
This beast is one beauty of a wagon. No detail is missed to make it a great street cruiser. Doing double duty with 12s on the track is one heckuva bonus.
Wow this car is nice. I don't even think that the three wolves can even come close to the sheer awesomeness of this car!
Yes....the paint on this car is gorgeous and was done by the owner. And...there have been a lot of Vega's done over the years but I have never seen one this complete. This is a cherry 12 second street car. Just look at the interior, the engine, the stance, the paint job. This car leaves nothing undone. I have built cars for a lot of years and am duly impressed with this Vega wagon. The owner has done it all himself and his patience and attention to detail is stellar. A super nice car.
Used to live in Oshawa, Canada, where Canadian Vegas were built. That ain't your momma's grocery getter, unless she can 'feel the force'. Fine lookin' beast!
A homebuilt street/strip car that screams and looks great doing it! What's not to love? Unless of course, you're his kid's school teacher...
That is one slick paint job!!! I seen that car at Bunker Hill last year - are you sure its the same car??? Just kidding, you did great! WOW!!
Amazing paint, especially for a drag car! It looks like it should be at Pebble Beach. Good luck!
Wow, this little wagon gets my vote. Very nice paint.
